About the Skinny Gene Project
The Skinny Gene Project is a division of the J. Moss Foundation that addresses the environment-based issues, or social atmospheres, that affect a person's ability to prevent diabetes. The organization shapes an individual's environment so their decision to improve their health is met with guidance and encouragement, and their first step forward is not their last.

The Skinny Gene Nutritional Analysis
The food you are eating may be igniting your taste buds but diminishing the effectiveness of your metabolism. Just like other parts of your body, your metabolism is unique and its ability to function properly depends on multiple factors. (E.g. food, age, gender etc.) The Skinny Gene Project will provide you with an in-depth analysis of what you are, or are not eating, that decreases the performance of your unique metabolism.

Here's how it works!
1) What, When, Where, and How much - Keep a detailed journal of what you're eating
2) Looking For Answers - A member of the Skinny Gene nutrition team will input all of your info
3) Ignite Your Skinny Gene (a.k.a Metabolism) - A Skinny Gene Registered Dietitian (RD) will analyze your results to determine if you have been working with your metabolism, or against it.

You'll get the answers you’ve been waiting for - what you can do to ignite your metabolism! Good luck!

P.S. Don't forget to send us your steps. We all need to work together in order to reach 100 million steps this month. Let's do it!

  1. I'll kick it off with a great post I saw yesterday by @andybellatti. Make sure you're drinking plenty of water friends.

  5. Keep few (if any) calorie-containing beverages in your house, except milk. Get your fruit servings from fruit, not juice. And eat together as a family as often as possible, even if you're just sitting down together to peanut butter sandwiches or leftovers!
